As always, visitors can see the world-famous Canal Parade, a fantastic floating display of around 80 garishly-decorated boats bursting with music and colour. Elsewhere, the city indulges in a vibrant mix of sports, culture and lots of parties throughout the extended three-day weekend. Friday features a variety of street parties around the city, while the canal parade takes place on Saturday afternoon.
The city's renowned cafes and clubs rock with banging tunes and there are wild parties every night, including the famous White Party at the Melkweg on Saturday night.
