The Chablis Wine Festival takes place over a weekend at the end of October. If you're in the region then you really ought to make a beeline for the town with the name that symbolises fine white wine.

Saturday is given over to a competition among local wine growers. Sunday has a bit more of a street party atmosphere, with food and drink, entertainment and family fun.
