The huge FotoGrafia festival of contemporary photography takes over galleries, museums and other public areas throughout Rome, including Palazzo delle Esposizioni, the main venue. "See Normality" is this year's theme, aiming to examine everyday matter through photography.

More than 100 exhibitions, meetings, films, readings, seminars and a newly-introduced section dedicated to emerging trends entertain visual arts enthuasists for two months. Following last year's success, the Baume & Mercier International Award returns in 2008 to offer the winner the opportunity for a commission.
