The annual West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval is the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties. Santa Monica Boulevard is closed (between La Cienega and Doheny Boulevards) to accommodate around 350,000 revellers in outrageous Halloween costumes.

The event is the largest Halloween street party in the US. As well as the huge parade, there are four stages featuring non-stop entertainment with music, dancing, costume contests and a drag competition. The party continues all night at any number of clubs and bars in the area.
