baseball beers in the Gateway District, this is the heart of Cleveland nightlife.
From 1930s deco dens to ultra-modern lounges, the West Side lets you see and
be seen - and mixes a mean martini. You can hear piano jazz or deep house in Ohio
City, and live salsa in Cudell. Movie stars and sports heroes make it to
the hipper places, and you may find yourself waiting at the velvet rope at more than
a few.
Most places don't stay open past 2 or 3am, and many close earlier on weeknights.
Pogo in the Public Square to Ian Hunter's Cleveland Rocks; take a drive along
the Erie shore with the Band's Look out Cleveland; traipse the Tremont in 2/4
time to Frankie Yankovic's Cleveland the Polka Town.
