turning it into thousands of everyday products, and marvel at dazzling gems, at the
Museum of Natural History. Lust after the finest in antique European
furniture and accessories at the Rienzi Centre for Decorative Arts –
housed, very appropriately, in a mansion in the city's most affluent
neighbourhood, River Oaks.
Meander through the sculptures of the Buffalo Bayou Art Park or commune with a
higher being at Rothko Chapel. Finally, contemplate the unique minds that worship
the orange and lifted quite a few brews at the Orange Show and the Beer Can
House, respectively.
Strange but True
"Houston" was the first word spoken by astronaut Neil Armstrong as he landed the
lunar module on the moon on 20 July 1969. "Houston, Tranquillity base here. The
Eagle has landed."
