The Mediterranean Music Festival presents music linked to geographic areas, from flamenco to Tibetan chanting and Tuareg music from West Africa. Concerts, premieres, workshops, parades and a conference on world music are held in Genoa's Porto Antico and medieval quarter.
Further meetings, internships, exhibits, publication of books and initiatives for children complete the festival, which has promoted the discovery of music and culture on five continents since 1992.
