International Museums Day
Thousands of museums all over Germany take part in the International Museums Day. The aim is to present a wide range of special exhibitions to publicise the unique role museums play in society. A different theme is adopted each year.
The theme for 2010 is "Museums for social harmony". Expect a staggering variety of displays, shows and exhibitions. Please visit the International Museums Day website for further information and a list of participating institutions.
