The people of Guam like to throw a party and from April to October the island's southern villages hold their annual fiestas. One of the best known is Malojloj Fiesta in Inarajan, held in honour of the patron saint, San Isidro.
Traditional events, hot pepper contests and carabao racing take place amid what amounts to an all-out party in the streets around the San Isidro church. Visitors are warmly welcomed and are encouraged to sample the delicious Chamorro food and beer.

| Directions: | Inarajan is an administrative division in the south of the island. These divisions are still called "villages" despite sometimes covering large areas, and often containing more than one actual settlement.
