Riverbend Art Festival is Atchison's annual art festival. Held at Atchison Mall, the festival is visited by thousands every year, with artists from around the region displaying and selling paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photography and jewellery.
Musical performances of gospel and blues, classical, folk and soft rock entertain browsers throughout the event. Special children's activities keep the little ones busy for the weekend. Cash prizes are awarded to winning artists at a Saturday night ceremony.
