Rice Fair
Celebrating more than the local rice, Verona's Rice Fair organises sport competitions, art exhibitions, plays, concerts, motorbike tours and more at the Isola della Scala. Proceedings open with a gala night, awarding Chicco d'Oro prize to the top rice producer.
The traditional Risotto all'Isolana, a delicious rice dish cooked with lean veal and pork, is available every night from all food stands and is a definite must-taste.
