The Sacramento Jazz Jubilee is the largest traditional jazz festival in the world and annually features more than 100 bands performing at over 40 different venues.
For four days visitors can feast their ears on traditional, barbershop, blues, gospel, swing, zydeco, New Orleans and Dixieland jazz from bands from Canada, Guatemala, England and all over the US. For full details of the line-up, please visit the festival website.
Sacramento is set in a beautiful landscape, just an hour's drive away from the splendid Sierra Nevada. Closer to town, a walk along the American River Parkway, or the Jedediah Smith trail, which runs for miles along the American River, offers spectacular natural beauty.
