Cherry Creek Arts Festival
The Cherry Creek Arts Festival features over 200 artists competing in a juried competition that encompasses everything from ceramics and printmaking to jewellery and wood. All are on display between Denver's Clayton Street, 1st Avenue, Steele Street and Third Avenue.
Three stages feature musicians and performance artists, while spontaneous street performers can be found all over the festival area. Artivity Avenue (on Milwaukee Avenue) features a full city block of interactive arts activities for all ages.
The festival continues into the evening on Friday and Saturday nights, with Festival Nights: Music on Fillmore from 8pm to 10pm both evenings.
As the festival draws over 350,000 visitors each year, the organisers promote a special Accessibility Hour, a reserved period for seniors, individuals with mobility concerns and their companions, provided from 9am to 10am on Sunday morning.
