Museum of Macau
The Museum of Macau is located inside the Fortaleza do Monte, which is Macau's historical military centre. The exhibits look at the history, archaeology, culture, natural history, ethnography and ethnology of the city and the territory of Macau.
The fort was built in the 16th century to protect Jesuit properties in Macau; the museum was built in the 1990s.
