A prelude to Baltimore's famed horse racing event, The Preakness, this week-long celebration includes activities such as a downtown outdoor party, a parade and a hot-air balloon festival.
The festival begins with a bang with the Preakness Celebration Parade, which commences at Eutaw and Martin Luther King, Jr Blvd before traveling south on Eutaw and terminating at Redwood St. Other highlights include the Preakness 5K run/walk, the Preakness Frog Hop, the Preakness Crab Derby and the Miller Lite nights, where visitors are welcome to unwind to the sounds of live music.
