Junkanoo Summer Festival
A visit to the Bahamas wouldn't be complete without jigging about at a Junkanoo festival. If you miss the big ones on Boxing Day and New Year's Day, the Junkanoo Summer Festival on Eleuthera's exclusive Harbour Island is just the ticket.
The island transforms itself into a wild street party with brightly coloured parades and junkanoo music, notably performances by The Brilanders' band, the local favourite.
