Vancouver's Francophone Summer Festival features performances on an outdoor stage at Granville Street and 7th Avenue, in the heart of the city. Entertainment includes storytelling and live music.
Organised by the city's Francophone Cultural Centre, which also hosts events, the festival reflects the multicultural character of the international Francophonie - more than 40 countries have French as one of their official languages.
