Perth Farmers' Markets
King Edward Street is filled with stalls and shoppers for the regular Perth Farmers' Market on the first Saturday of the month (apart from January). There is also a special pre-Christmas market here in readiness for the festive season.
Stallholders offer everyting from slabs of fresh red meat and slippery oysters to green, leafy veg, home-made cakes, pies and wine, and are happy to advise on recipes and cooking methods.
