In Granada Corpus Christi is celebrated with an early morning mass and a religious parade. Statues of Jesus and Mary are carried through the crowd, passing through the Plaza de las Pasiegas, main street Gran Vía and also the cathedral.

A fairground is also set up on the outskirts of the city a few days before Corpus Christi itself and comes alive every until the small hours.

Directions:By Air: Armilla airport is located some 17km outside the city, on the way to Málaga. There are flights from most major European cities.

By Road: the N-32 highway connects Granada to the north with the cities of Jaén, Bailen and Madrid.
