The annual Ice Fishing Weeks take place around the village of Enontekiö, near the borders of Norway and Sweden. Visitors can tour the region watching the contest at the many lakes and rivers involved.
The competition begins at Karesuvanto and continues in the southern and eastern villages. Prizes are awarded to the three best fishermen.
