Legendary singer-songwriter Neil Diamond is on tour on the back of the release of his latest album Home Before Dark. This date is at Boston's Fenway Park.

Neil Diamond wrote early hits for The Monkees, including I'm a Believer, and had his first solo hit with Cherry Cherry in 1966, marking the start of a phenomenally successful career. The classic single, Cracklin' Rosie, hit the top of the singles charts in 1970 and two years later he hit the top again with Song Sung Blue. From the mid-Seventies onwards Diamond enjoyed huge success as a pop superstar in the lucrative middle of the road market.

His 2001 album, Three-Chord Opera, was the first in 25 years on which he had written all the material. It made a splash in the US charts and marked a resurgence in Diamond's career. His Rick Rubin-produced 2005 album, 12 Songs, featured a stripped-down sound and introspective material and was hailed as a masterpiece. His latest album is his second collaboration with Rick Rubin and has given Diamond his first number one album in the US.
