The Seenachtsfest is Zug's biggest celebration, with around 20,000 visitors each year. All along the lakeside promenade, local specialities keep revellers in the party mood. At 10.30pm a fantastic fireworks display set to music has everyone ooh-ing and aah-ing.

Earlier on in the evening, several bands and an orchestra present a diverse programme of music. The town's party draws to a close at around 2am - and to make sure everyone gets home safely, public transport is free.
