The Sprengel Museum Hannover hosts the exhibition The Beauty of a Fragile World (1910-1914). It features around 80 paintings and 100 watercolours and drawings by Franz Marc, August Macke and Robert Delaunay, created just before the First World War.

Although they met before the First World War, the three artists had very little time to develop their bold visions of form and colour in their quest to reinvent painting. Whether or not they succeeded is for you to decide and this collection in Hannover provides a fantastic introduction to their work.
