Darwin-Bali Langkawi Yacht Rally

Setting off from Darwin in July, over 250 yachts make their way around four countries and two continents during the five-month-long Darwin-Bali Langkawi Yacht Rally. All being well, in November the yachts arrive in Port Dickson.
The rally is a joint effort between PassionAsia Sdn Bhd, Sail Malaysia and Sail Indonesia. Asia's largest annual sailing event, the route covers approximately 3000 nautical miles. After setting forth from Darwin, the yachts travel through the Indonesian Archipelago towards the Malaysian island of Langkawi. Along the way there are several stops where local dinners and exhibitions are held to entertain the sailors and all those that come to welcome them on dry land.
Please note that the yachts are expected to arrive in Port Dickson on these dates but they are by no means definitive - please check with the Admiral Marina & Leisure Club or Malaysian Tourist Office before making plans.
