Heavenly Planet Festival is a new international event combining world-class music with comedy and the spoken word. In 2009 it takes place at the Promenade in Reading, UK, and also in Palermo, Italy.

Confirmed to appear so far this year are Drummers of Burundi, the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and Sharon Shannon Big Band. More artists will be announced on the Heavenly Planet Festival website as they are confirmed.
