Ulla von Brandenburg at Le Plateau
Le Plateau presents Name or Number, a collection of works by contemporary German artist, Ulla von Brandenburg - the first time her work has been on show in Paris.
Von Brandenburg uses 16mm films, drawings and sculptures in her works, based on the idea of the 'living picture', or tableau vivant. The artform was popular in the 19th century, with live models carefully posed and lit in a composition like that of a painting or photograph.
