The annual NHRA Winternationals at the Pomona Raceway in Los Angeles opens the drag-racing season, offering US$2 million in prize money and races in multiple disciplines. These include Top Fuel, Funny Car, Dragster and Stock Car competitions.

It is no surprise that drag-racing has been popular for over 40 years in LA. This amazing spectacle is a wild experience - a four-day car-worship festival in a city famous for its dependence on, and love of, the automobile. Remember your earplugs if you value your hearing.
