Island Sailing Club Round the Island Yacht Race
Two thousand yachts and 13,000 sailors line up for one of the world's biggest yacht races. The 50-nautical mile course is sailed anti-clockwise around the Isle of Wight, westwards from Cowes and the winner is awarded the Gold Roman Bowl.
