Since its inception in 1991, the International Street Theatre Festival in Holzminden has increasingly become a meeting point for actors, performers, organisers and festival directors from all over the world.
Holzminden's International Street Theatre Festival provides a platform for unusual theatrical approaches, premières and new creations and is also a competition with two different prize categories. Awards are presented by an international jury, which consists of different European festival directors.
