Stockholm celebrates the Swedish National Day at Skansen - the world's oldest open-air museum, right in the middle of the city. Songs, speeches, flag-waving and plenty of festivities express patriotic pride.

Highlights include a visit from the Swedish royal family (which probably has the prettiest daughters of any European monarchy), speeches and a musical programme. The whole event is transmitted live on Swedish national television, so you might just get your 15 seconds of fame too!
