Banff Mountain Book and Film Festival
The Banff Mountain Book and Film Festival celebrates mountain culture with film screenings, talks from leading lights in the climbing world, book readings and more. Since the mid-1970s, the festival has become one of the world's leading mountaineering events.

| Directions: | The trip from Calgary International Airport to Banff is well-signposted and takes approximately 1.5 hours. Leave the airport via Barlow Trail (head towards Calgary City Centre). Take 16th Ave West exit, turn right onto 16th Ave W and remain on it through Calgary, until it becomes the Trans-Canada Highway #1. Continue to head west and take the first exit to Banff. Take a left hand turn at the base of this exit ramp. Follow this road (Banff Ave) into the town. Continue until Wolf St, turn left and continue until the T-junction. Turn right onto St Julien Road, which leads directly into The Banff Centre. |
