The Nantucket Film Festival is devoted to the art of screenwriting. As well as the usual movie screenings (mainly features and shorts), there are panel discussions, morning coffee sessions and staged readings held in venues across town.
The festival hosts the annual NBC Writer's Tribute, which looks at the work of distinguished screenwriters, and also presents the Tony Cox Award for Screenwriting.
