Holland Festival
A highlight of the Dutch arts calendar, the Holland Festival presents opera, dance, music and theatre at the Muziektheater and other major venues in Amsterdam. Artists from around the world appear at the biggest performing-arts festival in the Netherlands.
This annual cultural celebration has expanded into media and the visual arts and is known for its strong links to the avant-garde. Even the most classical productions are given a contemporary slant.
The vibrant programme features around 80 performances, attended by some 80,000 people. Prepare for culture overload and book early.
