Spring Flower Festival
Thousands of flowers, tremendous topiary, six-ton swans, six-metre Easter bunnies and science-fiction-sized butterflies all feature in this annual festival at Cypress Gardens.
Rather than conventional sculpted shrubs, the figures in this festival are built up from steel skeletons and thousands of wax flowers, allowing for novel constructions each year. The topiary is then set amidst tens of thousands of impatiens, begonias and other annuals to make a colourful pageant of blossoms.
