The Snape Proms series of evening concerts brightens up the late summer days at Snape Maltings Concert Hall, Benjamin Britten's wonderful performance venue in coastal Suffolk. The month-long programme presents everything from steel bands to chamber music and orchestral concerts.

There can be few festivals that have such a picturesque setting, or that have such an amazing range of different musical styles on offer.

Snape Maltings is the home of Aldeburgh Music, the organisation that continues the tireless work of composer and conductor Benjamin Britten. For more than 50 years there has been an annual festival in June founded by Britten and Peter Pears, and now every August the whole of the month is given to this popular music festival.
