The King's Lynn Festival was founded in 1951 and fills venues of all shapes and sizes in this Norfolk market town, featuring established artists, up-and-coming soloists and ensembles.
The 2008 festival included performances Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway, The St Petersburg String Quartet, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Poet Laureate Andrew Motion, and a memorable last night with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra.
