Japan Day
Düsseldorf has Germany's largest Japanese community. The city's annual Japan Day celebrations include ten hours of stage entertainment and a huge firework display, attracting around a million people.
Everything from historic Japanese dancing to sumo wrestling and origami displays celebrate Germany's links with the country on Japan Day.
