Houston is the fourth-largest city in America and home to 4.5 million people. Covering more ground than any other major US city, it is built around ten waterways and therefore known as Bayou City. It is full of lush green spaces, lakes and bays. Its well-established port has led in part to a thriving business community, which in turn has contributed to Houston's ethnically diverse population.
Directions:Houston is situated on the eastern side of Texas, just above the Gulf of Mexico. It has two major airports positioned on opposite sides of the city.
