The summer season brings thousands of skaters onto Berlin's streets every Sunday evening for Skate By Night. Get down to starting point at Potsdamer Platz for a few hours of gliding down 25.9km of traffic-free roads past Berlin's iconic landmarks.
Berlin's tradition of late-night skating is relatively young in comparison to many other German cities. However this does not mean it attracts less participants; thousands regularly join the procession through the capital.
The skate takes place every Sunday from 14 June until the end of July. In August and September it is only every other Sunday. Please note: the event doesn't take place in bad weather - please visit the website for last-minute news on whether it is happening.
