Mississippi State Fair
The Mississippi State Fair is held in Jackson every year for 12 days. The predominantly agricultural state shows off its best colours at this event and families are guaranteed an exciting day out.
There will be arts and craft stalls, rides for children, livestock shows and other special attractions. Each night, three tents offer a wide range of music from folk and gospel to rock 'n' roll, including performances by John Anderson and Molly Hatchett. The food stalls are open from 12pm and rides are open at the weekend.
