On Memorial Day weekend visitors to Virginia Beach can swing to the live sounds of Big Band music at the 17th, 24th and 31st Street Parks. The popular event gets everyone on their feet.

The weekend of music and remembrance features special concerts reflecting music from the Second World War, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and more, paying tribute to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Dancing, laughing and fun is encouraged.

Virginia Beach has over 38 miles of sunlit beach on the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay. There are plenty of places to stay, with over 11,000 hotel rooms and space for more than 2500 campers on various sites.
