One of America's biggest bike rides, Bike the Drive offers participants the chance to enjoy a morning of car-free riding on Chicago's Lake Shore Drive. Participants can choose from three different routes.
Lake Shore Drive is opened to cyclists at 5.30am and cars are banned so enthusiasts can take in the city's spectacular skyline.
The Chicagoland Bicycle Federation proposes three separate routes. As they head out onto Lake Shore Drive, riders can choose to head north or south; north to the Hollywood Avenue rest stop and back to the festival (15 miles), south to the Museum of Science and Industry rest stop and back to the festival (15 miles), or the full route north to south or vice-versa (30 miles).
Please visit the Bike The Drive website for more information.
