Dozens of artists from around the globe fill the stages of Chicago with an amazing variety of music during the Chicago World Music Festival. Performances take place at more than 20 venues.
Established in 1999, the event has gained kudos for the breadth and quality of its programme. The music spreads to venues all over the Windy City, including the Navy Pier, Chicago Cultural Center and the Old Town School of Folk Music.
In addition to the concerts, workshops and masterclasses allow students to learn from the visiting musicians.
