Pizzafest
Vote for the best pizza or pop into a cheese tasting at the annual Pizzafest at Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples. Around 30 stalls sell Naples pizza using the freshest tomatoes, mozzarella, flour and olive oil strictly from the Campania region.
Pizzaioli napolitani (Neapolitan pizza makers) speedily flatten spheres of soft dough and heave piping-hot pizzas out of wood-fired ovens for hungry strollers. There's limoncello and coffee to wash it down with.
