Aqualud
Le Touquet's Aqualud theme park stays open right through to November. With the temperature kept at 27°C under its glass pyramid, visitors can enjoy water slides like The Black Hole and Twister even while it's bucketing down outside.
The brave can shoot out of a serpent's mouth at 70 kilometres per hour and finish in a head-spinning centrifuge, the more sedate can relax in the Jacuzzis, saunas and a solarium, while the kids are bound to enjoy Rock River and the delights of the water cannon. The Aqualud park isn't always open every day in low season, so please check before setting out.
