
Chalmette Battlefield in New Orleans, Louisiana springs back to life with the Battle of New Orleans Celebration, a flashback to the events of 1812, which saw an American victory over the British at the Battle of New Orleans.
As well as a taste of the battle, with British and American encampments, during the Battle of New Orleans Celebration many people dress in period costume and there are artillery demonstrations and tours of the area.
