Europe's largest Africa Festival takes place along the Mainwiesen riverbank in the beautiful city of Würzburg. Acrobats, dancers and DJs provide entertainment, while a market, craft stalls and children's entertainment keep the non-musical happy.

Since the Africa Festival began in 1989, more than 1000 musicians have performed before enthusiastic audiences. Non-locals are strongly advised to book their festival passes in advance as the event attracts more than 120,000 spectators every year.
