International Chopin Festival
First held in 1997, Nohant's International Chopin Festival celebrates the genius of Polish expatriate composer Fryderyk Chopin. Concerts take place at the Théâtre Maurice Sand de La Châtre. There are lectures and masterclasses throughout the day.
As is traditional, the closing concert is given by young soloists from the Académie Chopin. The full programme can be found on the Chopin Festivals website.
