Since 1996, the town of Limoges has gone all out celebrating the American-imported festival of Halloween. Around 30,000 people come into the city to watch a street parade of ghosts, ghouls and goblins carrying candlelit pumpkins.
Lots of people dress up (even if they're not in the parade) and tour the many bars, cafes and restaurants, which hold special Halloween parties. Witchy stews and ghostly cocktails are the order of the day!
The route changes every year, but takes place in the town centre - please call the tourist office for details.
