King Abdul Aziz Mosque
The spectacular King Abdul Aziz Mosque in central Riyadh accommodates around 5000 worshippers. In the early eighties of the last Hijra (Islamic) century, the mosque was restored and rebuilt and today it features a concrete shell and clad-granite exterior, while the basement contains emergency shelters and a large storage area.
